Job description- Technical Support Engineer - Kenya
Areas of responsibility
- Provide technical Support for Customer on Gilat’s products (RF and Satellite communication) including customer tickets solving, upgrades, Installation, etc.
- Lead Demo’s World Wide related to Gilat’s products and solutions
- Working with CRM system
- Meet customers SLA
Interactions inside and outside the organization
- Direct customers
- Tech Support Engineers in Gilat offices World Wide and T3 in Head Quarter
- Sales manager and Sales Engineers
- Project managers
- Vendors
- Sub-contractors
- Highly motivated autodidact
- Fine Human relations
- Customer Orientation – ability to work with departments inside the organization and customers outside the organization
- Ability to work during weekends and holidays
- Multitasking ability
- Ability to go abroad ~40% a year
Desired Skills and Experience
Education
- B.Sc Electrical Engineering – Advantage
Work Experience
- Working in customer environment – Must
- Be familiar with IP and networking – Must
- Be familiar with Erath station antennas and Remote antennas – Advantage
- Knowing satellite communication – Advantage
- Knowledge in RF - Advantage
Languages
- High level English – Must
